Before we left our great hosts of the previous night, Vic and Marge brought us out egg sandwiches and coffee.
Traveling down the road, we met up with lots of great people, including Jim Muhs, who has been following my travels on the computer for over a year. Jim spent the morning following horse droppings to buy a book and meet us.
Not too farm down the road, we were invited up to a house to fill our water tank by a really great family. The kids enjoyed petting the horses and feeding them some treats.
We stopped for lunch in the town of Allendale. We did a little shopping and a lot of people stopped by to chat and let their kids pet the horses.
We’re now camped at a the property of a family that has horses. The team is settled down in a paddock and munching their hay. This was a great day!
